Day 1: Istanbul

Although you could say this is my second bite at the cherry, considering i went home for Eid, i consider yesterday as my first proper day. I encountered several problems, the customs couldn't understand why i had come and gone from Turkey so quickly lol! Furthermore, when i arrived at the hotel, i was greeted with a "Sorry, fully booked!" However they were helpful enough to find me another hotel, which was cheaper and i have to say nicer www.grandgrosshotel.com. I am about to embark on the trip across Istanbul to get on the ferry to the Asian side of Bosphorus, which gives a glorious view, so there maybe my first opportunity for photos! Insh'Allah i will arrive in Eskisehir, the city of Anadolu University at 6pm.
